Children's Ministry in Otley Deanery

The regular work in our Sunday Schools and Toddler Groups is vital to the ongoing life of the church.

Over the years the Network has built up a selection of teaching schemes and books, and also produced resources to use in the settings. Mandy oversees training and booking these out.

StorybagThere are 32 story bags, suitable for 5 - 11 year olds, 16 Old Testament stories and 16 New Testament. Click on the PDF file to the left to see the full list of available stories.

Story Basket

There are 12 stories (New Testament) using a story basket, more suitable for pre-school children.

In both cases, scripts and props are provided, and training
can be given to those using the resources for the first time.

A thematic subject list is available with the Deanery resources available to borrow.

At Christmas and Easter there are plenty of resources and ideas available. No matter how frequently your group meets, or how many children you have, the Network can support the work and help with planning.
